Hello, I'm Anna
I'm a registered dietitian and nutritional therapist using a functional approach to help patients and practitioners restore balance, reduce overwhelm and move forward with confidence
At the heart of my work is a commitment to understanding you and walking alongside you in your journey. My background in biomedical science, dietetics and nutrition, together with my own lived experience, means I bring both knowledge and empathy to the patients and practitioners I work with.
I use the names Biomedic Nutritionist® and The Therapy Dietitian to describe this approach. They sit together to reflect the whole picture — science, dietetics and nutritional therapy combined with lived experience.
Alongside my clinical work, I am developing CellNurish™ as part of the same ecosystem. It gives me a way to share tools, resources and everyday guidance that can help you build habits and choices to support your health in practical ways.

About Me
How did I get here?
When I first put on my lab coat to work in laboratory medicine with the desire to help patients, each day was a deep dive into the complexities of the human body, amidst biopsies and microscopes. I was involved in the intricacies of disease, the importance of precise diagnosis, and the profound impact of biomedical science on patient care. My work behind-the-scenes played a critical role in patient diagnosis and treatment, demanding precision, dedication and unwavering commitment to high standards of scientific excellence.
During those years I witnessed firsthand the effects of how diet and lifestyle could affect health outcomes. I became increasingly drawn to the field of nutrition, lifestyle medicine, health, wellness and quality of life, with a focus on supporting health and prevention of disease.
With over three decades of professional and clinical experience, my approach combines dietetics, nutritional therapy, and biomedical science. Dietetics provides medical nutrition assessment and support within a clinical framework. Nutritional therapy adds a complementary perspective, looking more holistically at patterns, choices, and influences in daily life. Biomedical science brings depth in the background, with insight into how the body works at a systems level.
Alongside this, over 25 years of volunteering in mental health support, along with qualifications in counselling skills, equailty and diversity, and training in motivational interviewing, human factors, and unconscious bias has shaped a way of working that considers the whole person and recognises how physical and psychological health connect.
